DAQMAN STRIKES YET AGAIN FOR A NAPS HAT-TRICK: Daqman’s first principle which he affirmed yesterday – a staking plan for a daily profit – came good immediately through a winning nap, Toro Strike (WON 6-4). It gave him a hat-trick of naps that covers all the nap strategies he is discussing this week.

WON 6-4 TORO STRIKE (daily nap, Monday)
WON 4-5 SUN MAIDEN (supernap, Sunday)
WON 5-1 LE DON DE VIE (bull’s-eye nap, Saturday)

WATCH THIS SPACE! MORE CRACKING FINDS IN JUNE: Daqman yesterday revealed a profit of nearly 170 points on 12 winning supernaps out of 13. His new Bull’s-Eye Naps are not far behind, more than 143 points up to recommended stakes after only five selections (see below), which began with a winner, Cracking Find. The tips are usually once a month but the May one slipped into June. Says Daqman: there’s sure to be another one, maybe two or three, in June. Watch this space!

BULL’S-EYE NAPS: 143 POINTS PROFIT

Treble your money! Daqman’s new Bull’s-Eye Nap is showing a profit of 143 points – that’s around three times the recommended stakes – after only five selections, with three winners and just one unplaced and one faller.

Says Daqman: I decided at the start of the year that we needed a value supernap, with a high target return, say once a month.

The plan was to wait until I felt that the occasion presented itself to nap a horse that wasn’t going to be a short shot or even a long shot.

I wanted something in between that I felt was solid, a gem at from 2-1 to 6-1 that I could back to win 50 points.

Since June is a big betting month, with plenty of value odds at Royal Ascot, there could be two or three in the next couple of weeks.

The 143.50 profit on recommended stakes is an ROI of 298%. As we did with supernaps yesterday, we have also calculated the profit and loss to 20-points level stakes. The rolling total is +210.00. The five Bull’s-Eye Naps:

WON 9-2 CRACKING FIND (January 25, Doncaster) + 90.00
(Faller 5-1 Vicente, February 23, Newcastle) + 70.00
WON 3-1 COMMODORE (March 9, Sandown Park) + 130.00
(Loser 7-1 A Momentofmadness, April 20, Musselburgh) + 110.00
WON 5-1 LE DON DE VIE (June 1, Epsom) + 210.00

A ‘GODSEND’ AT LINGFIELD BUT WHICH ONE?

8.10 Lingfield What a week for Leafy Lingfield !! The Lingfield trials provided the winners for BOTH the Derby and the Oaks in a tremendous fillip for the Surrey track.

The two Lingfield trials have often suffered from small fields in recent years but perhaps the quality and quantity will be on the up now after this year’s successes. After all, it would be hard to find a course closer in matching the idiosyncratic Epsom contours.

We’re back on the all-weather at Lingfield tonight and the Oaks winning combo of John Gosden and Frankie Dettori team up again in the 8.10pm in what could easily turn out to be a match with stable companion Harrovian.

Both finished second on their respective debuts. First In Line was sent off favourite but was no match for Dubai Instinct who has since been well beaten in a Newbury maiden.

Harrovian stayed on strongly after a tardy start to finish second to the more experienced Apparate at Newmarket – that reads as slightly better form in my book and it might be that Frankie has chosen the wrong one and Rob Havlin could be the benefactor.

8.20 Newcastle A very competitive sprint handicap but a chance is taken with Kinloch Pride who is gradually slipping down the handicap to what could be a winning mark.

She is a previous course and distance winner here and there was a glimpse of improved form from her at Thirsk last time out where fifth to Indian Pursuit.

8.40 Lingfield The Royal runner Calculation looks very short in the BETDAQ market for a horse that has finished well beaten in his three starts to date and starts off in handicap company for the first time tonight off a mark of 69.

Tammooz also makes his handicap debut and has shown a little more to date than the favourite but preference is for another handicap debutant Vindolanda who finished a good third to Future Investment at Chester and she also has previous all-weather experience.
