INDIA HOT BET AT CATTERICK

3.00 Catterick This fillies handicap might well develop into a match between the southern raider India and the Mark Johnston locally trained Claramara who makes a quick reappearance having finished a close second to the odds-on Timoshenko at Ayr on Monday.

The Michael Bell trained India might have greater scope. She’s has just the five career starts and shaped well enough when fourth at Yarmouth last time out where she was reappearing after a break. That should have put her spot on for this.

Thirsk winner Princess Nearco was beaten 10 lengths into second by Raven Banner at Doncaster last time out and is generally expensive to follow.

4.10 Lingfield There’s an eight race card at Lingfield today but three of the races have attracted fields of 2,3 and 4.

They race on the turf for this 10 furlong handicap and I thought the Hugo Palmer trained Dubai Landmark looks of interest.

He’s having his first start on the turf, so there is a question mark but off a career low mark of 55 he surely should get competitive in this poor event.

The runner with marginally better credentials though is Vanderbilt who ran his best race for some time when third at Brighton last time out and off the same mark might prove hard to beat with his first time visor on.

7.15 Yarmouth This class 2 handicap is a breath of fresh air on a very modest days racing.

Hart Stopper ran a cracker when a head second to Buridan at Newmarket last time out and with Jamie Spencer replacing Milly Naseb should take a great deal of beating here, despite being shunted up 2lb in the weights.

Victory Angel drops in class having finished 22nd in the Wokingham and his course and distance win here last season came off a 7lb lower mark.

DAQMAN’S BETS (staked to win 20 points)
BET 6.4pts win (nap) INDIA (3.00 Catterick)
BET 5.7pts win DUBAI LANDMARK (4.10 Lingfield)
BET 4.0pts win HART STOPPER (7.15 Yarmouth)

DAQ MULTIPLES
3x1pt win double and 1pt win treble above three
