57 POINTS UP IN TWO DAYS: Daqman won with short prices and he hit the bull’s-eye with a long-shot, startling start to Newmarket yesterday by the king of tipsters. He’s made 57 points profit in two days.
Tuesday: 54.88pts profit on the day
WON 15-2 STARTLED (bull’s-eye bet)
WON 9-4 MISTER WINSTON
WON 4-9 CERRO BLANCO (supernap)
Monday: 2.10pts profit on the day
WON 6-4 EVENING SAIGON
GO TO WAR WITH FITNESS
⭕ 2.25 Newmarket (Feilden Stakes) The last two winners of this three-year-olds test over the oddity trip of 1m 1f have currently ceilinged at 117.
But the race has had its glory days: won in 2012 by subsequent French Derby winner Intello, third in the Arc, and in 2015 by the fabulous Golden Horn, John Gosden’s Derby, Eclipse and Arc winner. His final rating: 130.
Poseidon’s Warrior represents Charlie Appleby who is winning trials at this Listed level because he has his string so fit so early.
Maybe Morshdi is a Dubawi he wishes he had but William Haggas is badly out of form (1-19), without a winner for 12 days.
Aidan O’Brien’s Isaac Newton might be good enough, close up at the finish of a Group-1 criterium in Paris, and will relish plenty of rain.
But for fitness and current form, I was taken by the gallop that sent Wareeth right away from his field on debut at Newcastle (14 lengths).
Also impressed by his Sea The Stars pedigree and by his soaring 510,000gns yearling price, 10 times his cost as a foal.
ADVANTAGES TO DAMYSUS
⭕ 3.00 Newmarket (Earl Of Sefton Stakes) Another over 1m 1f with Team Gosden’s Damysus having a big advantage as a course and distance winner.
Second booster: the Gosdens’ current form is 1121, with probably another win already added today by Celestra in the 1.40 at Beverley.
And third, four-year-olds are 6-8 in this Earl Of Sefton and Damysus is the only one in today’s race; the rest are aged five.
Boiling Point is also a CD winner but that was a handicap, albeit the Cambridgeshire, whereas the Damysus CD was at today’s Group-3 level.
A third CD winner is Persica, well backed early doors for Oisin Murphy, who rode a double here yesterday.
GET IN ON THE GOSDEN ACT
⭕ 3.35 Newmarket (Nell Gwyn Stakes) One of only half a dozen winners of this fillies’ trial to have taken the 1,000 Guineas was Cachet (2022) for George Boughey.
We should Awaken to this fact with Boughey’s Rockfel fourth of that name well drawn in stall 3.
Harlequin Breeze came out of 12 on the near side when beaten only a neck on the far side by Zooming (stall 1) over this 7f on good to soft in November.
But she had been beaten, also over the CD, seven lengths in her maiden by Act Of Kindness, another Charlie Appleby three-year-old, drawn 2 today.
Hugo Palmer, who had a day-one success, plays the Princess Margaret Group-3 winner Fitzella, the Cheveley Park 5th to Aidan O’Brien’s 1,000 Guineas hope, True Love, with Beautify only 8th.
Mubasimah ran both her starts over today’s CD in the autumn, winning her maiden then beaten in the Oh So Sharp Stakes.
But the one I like is Asmeralda, out of stall 4 for Team Gosden, winners of the Nell Gwyn six times and whose latest form could be by now, after earlier races today: 112111. Betdaq Betting Exchange 9.9
NOISE SOUNDS LIKE MUSIC
★★ SUPERNAP OF THE DAY: 2.05 Haydock White Noise is bred for a marathon but disposed of the Dawn Run Mares Novices at the Cheltenham Festival in style, though asked to beat a field of 22 at only 2m 1f.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
