EFL CUP: We preview Tuesday’s EFL Cup game between SWANSEA v MAN U with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm The Carabao Cup fourth round starts tonight and all eyes will be on Manchester United on Sky Sports to see how they bounce back after losing to Huddersfield at the weekend. They have had a busy time of things lately with this competition and the Champions League, and they did look a little tired against Huddersfield. They created very little for all the possession they had, and while Jose Mourinho would love to rest some players here, he’ll also want a winning response to the weekend too.
These two sides have already faced each other here in the Premier League already this season, with three late goals giving United a 4-0 win that day. Pogba was superb in the second half that day though, and obviously him being injured leaves a huge hole in the midfield as we seen at the weekend. Obviously the team sheet could change the prices a lot, and it’s worth keeping a close eye on the match odds market on BETDAQ when the teams are announced, however based on the information we have at the moment United look a little short at 1.59 given the way they played at the weekend.
Swansea have been pretty solid at home this season, however they have come up short against the big sides when they have come here. Mourinho will have to strongly consider giving some of his players a rest here given the commitments they have coming up, and while he might not want to risk losing two games in a row – it might be worth the risk that the fringe players can get the job done.
We expect Swansea to start well, however late goals from United seem likely – especially if they have a strong bench. With not much value in the match odds market at the moment or the handicap markets, we like the look of Draw/United in the HT/FT market at around 4.8 which looks too big.
