EFL CUP TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s EFL Cup replay between BRISTOL CITY v MAN CITY with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm What a night ahead at Ashton Gate. Many punters would have expected Bristol City to be blown away in the first leg, however they were excellent and remain in touch only 2-1 down. It could have been better too after they took the lead! The markets are expecting an easy win for City however, with the away side trading 1.27 at the time of writing, while Bristol are 14.5 and the draw is 6.8.
Obviously City will be Bristol’s toughest test yet – however you have to remember that they have already beaten Man United, Crystal Palace, Stoke and Watford on their way here. So while City could obviously blow them away, as they could to any side, Bristol are no pushovers and in front of their home crowd – the 1.27 on a City win certainly looks a little short.
Bristol have had four homes games in the League Cup thus far this season, and netted an impressive 13 goals. With City leaking goals recently, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Bristol could find a goal or two. Stopping City at the other end is going to be the hard part however! We feel that 1.27 on City is a tempting lay, however with Bristol trading 1.8 +2 goals in the Asian Handicap market that price jumps off the page as our best bet. Stakes are void if City win by exactly two, and we expect Bristol to be very competitive – City have yet to win a League Cup game this season by more than one goal and Bristol can give them a tough night.
