EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Saturday’s Euro 2020 Qualifiers between CROATIA v WALES, ESTONIA v NORTHERN IRELAND and SCOTLAND v CYRPUS all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
CROATIA V WALES
2pm We have an action packed day at the Euro 2020 Qualifiers today and we kick off our preview with Croatia hosting Wales. Although there are four of the five teams tied on three points coming into this weekend in Group E; Wales are in the best position. They have only played one game, while Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia have all played two. The World Cup finalists had a poor Nations League and perhaps they suffered from a hangover after a very tough World Cup for them. They will desperately want to get back on track in this competition, however there’s no denying that their side is an aging one.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Croatia 1.62, Wales 6.8 and the draw is 4.1. Ryan Giggs should have a very strong squad here after some injury troubles lately – Bale might be having a tough time of things in Madrid at the moment, but he can look forward to some competitive action with Wales before hopefully finding a new club this summer. Croatia, on the other hand, are missing some of their key players and we feel that they are ten ticks too short at 1.62. We fully expect Wales to make the game closer than those odds suggest and from a value point of view, we have to lay Croatia at 1.62.

ESTONIA V NORTHERN IRELAND
5pm Northern Ireland got off a cracking start to their Euro 2020 qualification bid with two wins from two games, and they currently sit top of Group C. They are pretty unfortunate to keep bumping into Germany, however as we seen in the Nations League – Germany are a side on the decline and Northern Ireland will be confident of qualification. However; do achieve that they have to come away from games like this with points.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Estonia 4.5, Northern Ireland 2.02 and the draw is 3.1. It’s funny how the fixture list throws up fixtures – these two sides have actually already met in this Group! Estonia’s first two games will be against Northern Ireland. Based on what we seen when Northern Ireland ran out 2-0 winners, it’s hard to see Estonia winning here – their best hope seems to be a draw. They were unable to score against Gibraltar in March and we can’t get away from the Northern Ireland price here at 2.02. It definitely looks the value.

SCOTLAND V CYPRUS
7.45pm Scotland have a lot of work to do to qualify for Euro 2020. Not only have they been given a pretty tough Group with Belgium and Russia in it, but they have lost their first game against Kazakhstan. They managed to beat San Marino afterwards; however everyone in this Group will beat them, and now Scotland sit fifth of six heading into this weekend. Cyprus may have lost to Belgium, however they put five past San Marino and will come into this fixture reasonably confident of a result.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Scotland 1.54, Cyprus 7.6 and the draw is 4.3. Scotland topped their Nations League Group, however their lost to Kazakhstan came as a surprise. That came away from home though, and they should have more than enough firepower to get the job done at home against Cyprus. They had some solid draws in the Nations League, but only finished with five points from six games and we feel that Scotland are worth backing at 1.54 here. Home advantage means a lot in these type of games and we can’t see Cyprus causing Scotland problems.
