EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Saturday’s Euro 2020 Qualifiers between GEORGIA V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, DENMARK V SWITZERLAND and NORWAY v SPAIN all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

GEORGIA V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

2pm We start Saturday at the Euro 2020 Qualifiers with an intriguing clash in Group D. Ireland currently sit top of the Group with 11 points from five games but they have already played Gibraltar twice and Georgia at home. They have had two great draws against Switzerland and Denmark, but they have looked poor in front of goal and given how poor they looked at home to Georgia; they need to improve to beat them away from home.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Georgia 3.65, Republic Of Ireland 2.48 and the draw is 3.0. Ireland have lacked creativity up front and it’s hard to see how they can outscore Georgia here. The hosts held Denmark to 0-0 here recently and given how poor Ireland looked at home against them, we like the Ireland lay at 2.48. They need to improve to justify odds like that away from home, they just haven’t been scoring enough goals lately and we can see Georgia picking up points here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Republic Of Ireland at 2.48.

DENMARK V SWITZERLAND

5pm This is another massive clash in Group D. Ireland are clear leaders of the Group at the moment and while they have had some easy fixtures; two draws against these two sides puts Ireland in a very strong position. A win for either of these sides would be massive – and it would be a huge blow for the loser; especially if Ireland won against Georgia.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Denmark 2.34, Switzerland 3.6 and the draw is 3.3. These two are so evenly matched, it’s hard to see anything other than a very close game. They recently played out a six goal thriller that finished 3-3 but so much is at stake here it’s hard to see such an open game. On balance, Denmark look too short at 2.34 – we fully expect a closer game than those odds suggest and from a value point of view we have to lay them.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Denmark at 2.34.

NORWAY V SPAIN

7.45pm We end the day with Norway hosting Spain in Group F. After some poor performances and getting knocked out of the World Cup early, many have quested this Spanish team however they are now six from six in this Group. Obviously the quality of opposition is lower than the big teams they’ll have to beat at major tournaments, so perhaps the jury is still out. They have been excellent in qualifying thus far though and should continue their run tonight.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Norway 7.2, Spain 1.54 and the draw is 4.4. This is a massive game for Norway when you look at the table. They currently sit in fourth position but they’re only two points behind Sweden in second – a win would be huge, but even a draw would keep them in the hunt for qualification. We can’t see them getting a result though – Spain have scored 17 goals in their six Group games and they’ve already beaten Norway too. The 1.54 on the away win looks too big to ignore here and we fully expect Spain to outclass this Norway side.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Spain to beat Norway at 1.54.
