BETDAQ BRAND AMBASSADOR GAVIN CROMWELL: Latest news on his two runners at Kilbeggan today.

Running In Heels runs in the 3m handicap hurdle at 4.05. She won easily here on her penultimate start and debut for the yard, before finishing 4th in Punchestown over 2m7f last month. She ran better than her result suggested the last day, two hurdles were omitted due to low lying sun which wouldn’t have been ideal for her. She’s been in good form at home since and hopefully the return to Kilbeggan will see her get her head back in front for all the ladies in the syndicate that own her! HRI did a nice piece on syndicate ownership and the team behind the horse, the video is on our facebook page with the link below.

As De Pique runs in the 3m1f handicap chase at 5.05. He ran two nice races in Perth at the end of April and ran respectably from out of the handicap at Uttoxeter last month. He returns to Ireland off his lowest mark in nearly 2 years. This ground is key for him, he loves good summer ground and Breen Kane takes 5lbs off. He’s been a great servant over the years and isn’t getting any younger at 13 now but hopefully he can show up well and collect some prize money.
