GREYHOUNDS: It’s the second night of Round Two and we have previews and picks for each heat.

Heat 9

1️⃣ Baggios Champ
2️⃣ Ballymac Fairone
3️⃣ Savana Beau
4️⃣ Singalong Sally
5️⃣ Emilys Jet
6️⃣ Old Fort Chicago

Verdict: Saturdays session kicks off with leading lady Singalong Sally likely to be popular in the ring. At first glance she appears to have a horrid draw in trap four, far away from the inside she craves, but with the three inside her not renowned for there trapping ability or early pace she could find it easy enough to get across to the fence. If she does, she will be a tough nut to crack. With Sally edging inwards you would have to give a big chance to Emilys Jet in five, he was an impressive winner in round one and should have plenty of room to operate.

Selection: Singalong Sally

Heat 10

1️⃣ Knight Tornado
2️⃣ Part Blake
3️⃣ Romeo On Tilt
4️⃣ Bobsleigh Dream
5️⃣ Trumps Benefit
6️⃣ Glengar Jenny

Verdict: Not a lot to separate these on last weeks running. Part Blake remains right up there as one of the favourites for outright glory, but he has a tricky enough draw outside his kennel mate Knight Tornado who is improving with each outing. Bobsleigh Dream was an impressive winner in the first round but may struggle early against some of these. Glengar Jenny would prefer to be drawn a little more central while Romeo On Tilt will have to come from off the pace. Knight Tornado is one of the best around on his day and last weeks run was a step back in the right direction.

Selection: Knight Tornado

Heat 11

1️⃣ Makeit For Waz
2️⃣ Droopys Cavalry
3️⃣ Whats Up Eva
4️⃣ Make Noise
5️⃣ Chubbys Jet
6️⃣ Deanridge Skippy

Verdict: Deanridge Skippy was the only one of these successful in round one and a repeat performance could well be good enough from a favourable draw. Makeit For Waz led for a long way behind a hot winner last time while Whats Up Eva is a bitch who can fly to the turn.

Selection: Deanridge Skippy

Heat 12

1️⃣ Global Vision
2️⃣ Cape Cloud
3️⃣ Bockos Leah
4️⃣ Skywalker Barry
5️⃣ Mickys Barrett
6️⃣ Fernandes

Verdict: The Irish runners will look to dominate heat twelve. Skywalker Barry was at his imperious best last week when making all and will be looking to do the same again here. Bockos Leah ran well to qualify last week and is far better than that display, she is likely to improve on that run and has a massive chance here. Cape Cloud was another who impressed in round one and Mickys Barrett is not without a chance although she needs to improve her trapping.

Selection: Bockos Leah

Heat 13

1️⃣ Jaytee Wexford
2️⃣ Barefoot Supremo
3️⃣ Dreamers United
4️⃣ Wide Open
5️⃣ Le Bonite
6️⃣ Bockos Vierira

Verdict: One of the heats of the night and another set to be dominated by the Irish Runners. Barefoot Supremo came from another parish to snatch victory last week but is likely to be off the pace again as they enter the back straight. Wide Open has a good record around here and returned to winning ways last time, she needs to be on her toes early. Bockos Viera may be a middle seed, but I think he could go well from six in this, a lightly raced dog he was visually very impressive when scoring in round one.

Selection: Bockos Viera

Heat 14

1️⃣ Romeo De Niro
2️⃣ Dapper Rodney
3️⃣ Hoodoo Brown
4️⃣ Coppice Fox
5️⃣ Magical Duke
6️⃣ Priceless Jet

Verdict: Magical Duke was a good winner last week for Gary Griffiths and the early lead is once again up for grabs in this heat. Priceless Jet has long been one of the fastest dogs around both Ireland and in the UK and is a former record holder around here, as well as a classic winner back home in Ireland. However, Hoodooo Brown is a dog with massive potential and ran far better than his placing suggests last week. He can go up better but really turns on the afterburners from halfway. He is a joy to watch and is fancied to take heat fourteen.

Selection: Hoodoo Brown

Heat 15

1️⃣ Romeo Magico
2️⃣ Coolavanny Calvn
3️⃣ Goldies Perryman
4️⃣ Storys Peewee
5️⃣ Lautaro
6️⃣ Ninja Kerry

Verdict: New track record holder Lautaro was simply stunning when making all last week and he has another good draw in this outside Storys Peewee. Its simple, if he repeats that run, he wins. Romeo Magico and Coolavanny Calvn are two of Irelands absolute best and Lautaro will have to be on his A game if he is to emerge on top. Romeo Magico has meet and beat the best around for some time now and he will be no pushover from box one. Ignore his latest run as he is a much better dog off the front.

Selection: Romeo Magico

Heat 16

1️⃣ Kildare
2️⃣ Masters Ten Ten
3️⃣ Zazzeras Jack
4️⃣ Blackrose Tadgh
5️⃣ Scarty Yank
6️⃣ Thorn Falcon

Verdict: The last of the second-round heats but what a heat it is. Last years derby champion Thorn Falcon ran a remarkable race in the first round and is clearly returning to the top of his game, he adores box six and will be hard to contain if granted a clear run. Kildare is a puppy of immense potential and is another well drawn on the inside for Peter Cronin. Scarty Yank and Masters Ten Ten were both winners in round one but face much tougher opposition tonight.

Selection: Thorn Falcon
