Sky cameras make their annual visit to Kinsley near Pontefract for the Gymcack – a puppy conpetition run over 462m.

It’s the standard four bend distance with the final at 9.19 featuring the short priced Sidaz Scotty (ex Droopys Marshall).

A race all about early speed, he sets the standard in a race that will be decided over the first two bends which he has looked uneasy at. He is no giveaway at his price and is on a slight drift with money for 1 and 6.

The race I like is the 8.34 which is the Gymcrack consolation and Tp 1 Guinness Spark who is drawn great.  He is 2/8 in career starts, unraced in Ireland. 1/3 in Tp 1 and looks the part in all departments.

He has bundles of early and has won over 515 at Hove clocking 29.69 and reached the Puppy Derby semi final at Monmore. He was unlucky not to reach the final of the Gymcrack getting beat a short head in the semis.

Tp 2 Fermoy Henry- he will make the race for trap 1 as he will be indicating right from the boxes.

Tp 3 Ballymac Chosen held by selection on the 7th of April run, must avoid Tp2 and is 0/6.

Tp 4 Mays Minstrel 0/2 8 and half lenghts behind selection in heat 5 of 1st round.

Tp 5 Droopys Quincy was drafted in yesterday as a reserve. Seamus Cahill’s second string an early pace railer also held by selection in an earlier heat.

Tp 6 Whiteshadeofpale 2/6 in A2 and A3 in Sunderland. Would have a chance at big odds and should like Tp 6 and avoid trouble on the inside . You have to respect the trainer, spells main danger.

BACK TP 1 GUINNESS SPARK between 2.5 and 2.7.

Good Luck.
