PREVIEW
Championship leaders Cardiff City can open a four point advantage with a win at Ewood Park tonight, albeit if it’s only for 24 hours before Crystal Palace have a chance to respond. Blackburn though will have their eyes on climbing to two points off the play-off positions with a win that would end a run of three games without a win.
Henning Berg has yet to make his mark on the side and he’s still only picked up one win since taking over from Steve Kean. If Rovers have any chance of finishing in the top six they will need to quickly turnaround their home form. It’s two defeats and a draw for Berg’s opening three home league games and Cardiff will sense blood.
Jordan Rhodes continues to show why he was so sought after and his eleven goals this season have been one bright spot for the Lancashire this campaign.
Malky Mackay’s side have been faultless at home and would be streets ahead at the top if they could match their efforts on the road. It’s three straight away games without a win for the Bluebirds, but I fancy them to end that run as Berg continues to struggle. At around 2.7 on BETDAQ, Cardiff are well worth backing to pick up all three points.
