PREVIEW
After a historic victory against Manchester United, Roberto Martinez takes his battling Wigan side to the Emirates for another tricky away fixture against Arsenal.

Wigan have been on a good run themselves, beating Man United and Liverpool in recent weeks. Martinez’s side are now playing with a confidence and spirit that reflects the manager, and they have been rewarded in recent weeks, winning three of their last four and losing just once in their last six at the hands of Chelsea, a game which Wigan dominated for large spells.

Although in saying that, they travel to the hottest team in the league, Arsenal. Arsene Wenger’s side have won eight of their last nine and their success is based on their home form, losing just three times at home this season.

Much has changed since the turn of the New Year, Arsenal were sitting in sixth, ten points behind their rivals Tottenham, and Wigan were trailing at the bottom of the table four points adrift from safety. However, both teams have stuck to their guns and the results have been rewarding.

Both teams like to play open attacking football, however the two sides are known for their fragility at the back and this should result in a high scoring entertaining game.  Arsenal are in superb form and at around 1.76 on BETDAQ, I would recommend punters back Arsenal with the -1 Asian handicap.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Arsenal at 1.76 with -1.5 Asian handicap: 6 points

Sunday’s
Return: 3.03 points
APRIL RETURN TO DATE: -3.84
