PREVIEW

Queens Park Rangers welcome Aston Villa on Sunday for a fixture that looks set to be tight given the clubs are level on points in the league.  The Villans narrowly lead the head-to-head encounters across the past ten meetings. Those that fancy home advantage to be the deciding factor can get around 2.36 for a QPR victory.

However, Neil Warnock’s outfit are yet to win a game at home in the league, but an away 3-0 win last week against Wolves will have given them plenty of confidence heading into the clash at Loftus Road. But the hosts will have to shrug off memories of being hammered 4-0 by Bolton at home earlier in the season – who now sit in the relegation zone.

Villa, on the other hand, have not lost a game all season and are currently sixth place in the Premier League. After five matches, Alex McLeish still needs to pick up an away win for his unbeaten side. A victory at Loftus Road would certainly put a smile on his face, considering the last time Villa beat QPR at home was back in 1991.

The odds are set against the Villans and punters can get around 3.3 for an away win. Both teams total goals combined does not stack up high either, so backing under 2.5 goals at around 1.88 on BETDAQ would be the sensible punt.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Under 2.5 goals at around 1.88: 6 points
Saturday’s Return: -5 points
