PREVIEW

It might be another couple of weeks until Guy Fawkes Night but expect there to be fireworks at Old Trafford on Sunday lunchtime.

The Manchester derby is getting more competitive every year and Sir Alex Ferguson has described this one as the biggest yet in his 25 years at United.

That’s because, other than home advantage, there doesn’t look to be anything between the sides.

However, that United definitely do have the edge when they play at home: they’ve won their last 19 league games at the Theatre of Dreams and their last five of those by at least two goals a time.

The fact there hasn’t been a draw in 14 of the past 15 meetings between United and City in all competitions indicates that only one side is likely to end this game with their unbeaten record intact.

Fergie’s men are available at around 2.16 on BETDAQ; the draw is 3.5 and City are trading at around 3.85.

Roberto Mancini’s charges have returned from their last four trips across town on the back of a defeat and, as you don’t often get the chance to back United at odds against in front of their own fans, the home win looks a very tempting proposition.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Man United at around 2.16: 5 points
Saturday’s Return: +1.76
