PREVIEW

Leyton Orient and Dagenham and Redbridge meet for a local derby this evening in a Johnstone’s Paint Cup game and it promises to be a feisty encounter. Fans heading to the Matchroom Stadium will be expecting another cracker if the last cup meeting between the clubs is anything to go by.

Tonight’s hosts have got off to a shocking start to life in League One this season and after six matches they are rock bottom. The O’s have one point to their name and have yet to pick up a league win this season – a run stretching six matches. It took until a 3-2 Carling Cup win over Bristol Rovers seven days ago to secure their first victory and they needed a 90th minute winner from Stephen Dawson that evening.

Although plying their trade in the league below, Daggers are in better form and are hovering around the play-off places with ten points from six matches. However, John Still’s side have suffered a few poor results in their past two games and were beaten 1-0 at Hereford last weekend. It shouldn’t be forgotten that Daggers have picked up six points from a possible nine on their travels in League Two.

The visitors also managed to secure a point on their last game at Orient and given the start the O’s have made this season, I can see them sending this game into extra –time. My advice would be to back the sides to be level after 90 minutes at around 3.5 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back the draw at around 3.5: 6 points
Tuesday’s Return: -5 points
