PREVIEW
Steve Davis heads to Wembley on Sunday with his youthful Crewe side to take on Mark Yates’ Cheltenham. Both teams, as you might expect, are in decent form, Crewe are unbeaten in their last 17 fixtures and although the Robins have lost eight of their last 15 they have won their last four, a run that has seen them race into the play-off final.

Crewe are flying and they beat third place finishers Southend United last time out. With an average age of just 23 in the second leg, the future looks promising for Crewe, a side renowned for creating unearthing talent such as David Platt, Robbie Savage and Neil Lennon. However, Steve Davis will be keen for his squad to develop in League One rather than their current division.

Cheltenham are no pushovers though, winning four on the bounce they are a team brimming with confidence, demonstrated in their comfortable semi-final victory over Torquay. If Yates’ side do want to come out of this game with a win it will be vital for them to stop 18-year-old Nick Powell.

Powell has attracted interest from a vast array of clubs as he has consistently turned in excellent performances, and Crewe will be hoping that Powell can add to his already impressive 14 league goals this season. With Cheltenham also scoring freely in recent weeks I would recommend punters back over 2.5 goals at 2.12 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back over 2.5 goals at around 2.12: 4 points
