PREVIEW
It’s an understatement to say that Rafael Benitez has had a hard start to his tenure as Chelsea interim manager.

Having replaced the popular Roberto Di Matteo, following the shock sacking of the Champions League-winning boss, the Spaniard has had to endure the wrath of supporters unhappy at his appointment.

A mediocre home record since he took over hasn’t helped the climate of hostility and even a 2-1 derby win over Arsenal on the weekend wasn’t the celebration it should have been as the Blues rather hung on in the second half.

They travel to Swansea in the Capital One Cup tonight looking to reverse a 2-0 deficit from the semi-final first leg.

The Swans provided an excellent example of a smash and grab win two weeks ago, having been on the back foot for most of the game. But the visit of Chelsea won’t scare Michael Laudrup’s side, who are more than capable of holding their own versus the top sides.

In Michu they have a top class striker and they know just scoring will make their opponents task very difficult.

Aston Villa failed to overturn a two goal deficit in a semi-final at home to Bradford last night in their League Cup game and the Villans remain the only side in League Cup history, back in 1994, to have achieved what Chelsea have to do later.

Chelsea may well win, they are favourites at around 1.86 on BETDAQ to do so, but Swansea can frustrate the visitors and having a speculative play on the draw at half time could offer some value.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back the draw at half time at around 2.47 on BETDAQ: 3 points
