PREVIEW
One of the last men’s tournaments before Wimbledon starts on Monday comes closer to its conclusion today with Andreas Seppi taking on Gilles Simon in the semi-finals of the AEGON International at Eastbourne. Both players would dearly love to add this title to their CVs ahead of what is likely to be a challenging tournament for them at Wimbledon.

Frenchman Simon has been seeded 19th for the most prestigious Grand Slam of the year and his Italian rival today 23rd.

The pair have met three times before with Simon winning all three matches, although they haven’t played each other for over four years. Seppi has certainly improved since then and the 29-year-old is now ranked 26th in the world, just nine places below his opponent later.

Simon took the scalp of the useful Bernard Tomic in his quarter-final while Seppi defeated veteran Radek Stephanek, also in straight sets.

The former’s form is certainly stronger overall, but they’ve had some close matches on the last couple of occasions and rather than backing Simon to win at around 1.76 on BETDAQ, for a bit of value, have a bet on him to beat Seppi 2-1 at 4.3 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Gilles Simon to win 2-1 at around 4.3 on BETDAQ: 3 points

Thursday: +4.92 points
JUNE RETURN TO DATE: +16.60 points
