An amazing collapse from Leicester has left them struggling to make the play-offs and their promotion hopes will be tested tonight with a tough game against a resurgent Birmingham.
While the Foxes are struggling to handle the pressure of the promotion race, the Blues have recovered somewhat from a fairly tragic season to rise up to 13th in the Championship and have only lost one of their last six games.
That run included three successive wins, culminating in the brilliant 4-0 thrashing of promotion hopefuls Crystal Palace. Lee Clark’s team are finishing with a flourish and look a big price at around 5.7 to rock the Leicester camp further.
The hosts have only won one of their last 13 matches and that was way back on the 26th February. Since that 3-0 win over Blackburn, they’ve lost five of eight matches and are now down to seventh in the league, from second just over a month ago.
In that sort of form you’d have to be brave backing them at around 1.72 on BETDAQ and, if the visitors can score first, you get the impression Leicester would fold. With that in mind, the value bet has to be Birmingham.
