PREVIEW
Chelsea and Manchester United renew their rivalry on Easter Monday for their FA Cup quarter-final replay after an entertaining 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. Two early goals from United left the Blues with it all to do and they responded in style to force another match.

Finding the time for this cup replay has been a tough assignment for the FA and one that means that both clubs have had a day’s rest since they last played.

That first tie kept up the run of high scoring games between the clubs. It was the third occasion that the two rivals have met since August and there have already been 18 goals. There were nine scored (six in normal time) in the League Cup meeting at Stamford Bridge to make it 14 on United’s two visits there in 2012/13. The past three matches between the clubs at the Bridge have seen 20 goals.

No doubt Sir Alex Ferguson and Rafa Benitez will rotate their squads to keep players fresh. Javier Hernandez loves this fixture and has scored in three of the past four clashes between the clubs. He got the scoring underway in the Old Trafford tie and he’ll be one to watch to repeat the trick.

United haven’t won the FA Cup since 2004 and Sir Alex would love to progress to face Man City in a repeat of the 2011 semi-final. Chelsea remain too inconsistent under Benitez and United have the drive to get the job done.
