PREVIEW
Tonight’s Champions League final will be the first time in the tournament’s history that two German clubs have reached this stage and a full house is expected at Wembley, with Bayern Munich looking to complete a brilliant season by seeing off old rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Munich dismantled Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate in a semi-final that shook the footballing world and that was the fourth successive match that the side have kept a clean sheet in Europe. Add in impressive wins against Juventus and Arsenal and they look worthy favourites at around 1.8 on BETDAQ.

However, Dortmund saw off the likes of Real Madrid, Ajax and Manchester City on their way to the showpiece and although getting lucky versus Malaga, and to a degree in the reverse leg in Madrid, they have shown serious quality so far. Despite their obvious, they finished the German season a record 25 points behind Munich in the league.

But Jurgen Klopp’s side have not lost to their opponents for six straight league games and that includes four victories. They have seen their star midfielder, Bayern-bound Mario Gotze, ruled out of the final through injury but will still fancy their chances of upsetting a side that have lost a record five European Cup finals, including two of the last three.

Bayern do look a more confident team this season but in what promises to be a close encounter, and remembering Dortmund’s brilliant recent record against them, it might be worth backing the draw at half-time at around 2.21 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
