PREVIEW
Queens Park Rangers have lost only two of their eight league games since the turn of the year and, after victory over fellow relegation-threatened rivals Southampton last week, there is cause for optimism that Harry Redknapp and his men can complete the great escape.

Another win over Sunderland at Loftus Road today will add to that growing belief, as it means they will have 23 points and will find themselves on the coattails of those above them.

And they have cause to be confident of taking three points later against a Sunderland side that have won none of their last five, losing three. Martin O’Neill’s team did come back from 2-0 down at home to Fulham last weekend but that was the first time in over a month they had netted more than once.
