PREVIEW
Chelsea again failed to impress on Thursday when they rather scraped by the Romanian side Steaua Bucharest 3-1, having gone 1-0 behind and looking like they might be knocked out of the Europa League.

However, they rallied and even the much-maligned Fernando Torres got on the scoresheet before promptly missing a penalty.

They face West Ham who avoided three straight defeats with a battling 1-0 win at Stoke last weekend at Stamford Bridge this afternoon. The Hammers will be up for this one as they look to push on into the top ten and Sam Allardyce’s men would love nothing more than to hurt their London rival’s chance of finishing in the top four.

But the Blues have won the last two games between these teams in west London by three goals and they should have too much class in the end. It’s likely to be a tight match but, with a midfield boasting the likes of the wonderful Juan Mata, Oscar and Ramires, it’s hard to see them slipping up.

Chelsea are short at around 1.36 on BETDAQ, so back Rafael Benitez’s side to win both halves at round 2.5 on BETDAQ.
