PREVIEW
We’re still reeling from the seismic shock in the golf yesterday when our 8/1 selection and two shot leader Hunter Mahan withdrew because his wife went into labour. Even when you think you have all bases covered sports betting never ceases to surprise.

Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor will contest an all-Stoke World Matchplay final after both players came through their respective semi-finals in Blackpool.

The darts has been brilliant this week and the semis didn’t disappoint.

Lewis booked his place in a first final at Winter Gardens with a thrilling 17-15 victory over Michael van Gerwen, while Taylor was forced to dig deep before overcoming James Wade 17-12.

Taylor is now one win away from a 14th World Matchplay title, having never lost in his previous 13 finals.

That’s a telling stat and we think Taylor will do it again.

The head to head record is very much in his favour and whilst Jackpot Lewis can be sublime to watch at times he is also the more likely to go through a period of some bad darts.

Taylor is Mr Consistent and that swings it.
