PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet starting off with STOKE v CRYSTAL PALACE at 12.30pm.

STOKE V CRYSTAL PALACE

12.30pm It’s the last Saturday of the Premier League season today as we finish with all the games next Sunday! We kick off with a huge game towards the bottom of the table as Stoke take on Crystal Palace. Palace had an excellent 5-0 win last weekend against Leicester and after that they look pretty safe on 38 points. This is a must win fixture for Stoke though; Southampton and Swansea have a game in hand on them, and Stoke sit two points behind Southampton and three points behind Swansea. We have a huge open market; with the match odds trading; Stoke 2.76, Crystal Palace 2.84 and the draw is 3.45. Stoke feel very short at 2.76 here – Palace are finishing the season strongly and full of confidence after a brilliant win last weekend, while Stoke are without a win in their last 12 games – we can’t back a side at these odds with a record like that; so the value call is to lay Stoke.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Stoke at 2.76.

BOURNEMOUTH V SWANSEA

3pm As we noted in the above game, Swansea are right in the mix in the battle to stay in the Premier League. A win for Stoke would pile huge pressure on them here, and Southampton play later today. They are facing Bournemouth at a good time though as it seems that they are ‘on the beach’ already as they say! They are without a win in their last five games, and although they have had to play Manchester United and Liverpool in that time; they’ve also lost to Southampton who have been poor this season and shipped two goals against both Palace and Watford. We can see this being a very close game and with Swansea giving everything to fight to stay up; we’re happy to lay Bournemouth at 2.16 which looks very short. We expect this one to be closer than those odds suggest.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Bournemouth at 2.16.

LEICESTER V WEST HAM

3pm Leicester have been finishing their season very poorly, and basically threw in the towel last weekend against Crystal Palace. Since exiting the FA Cup they have had nothing to play for, and while they did win their game after that against a Brighton side out of form; they have since lost three of four winless games. In their last two home games, they’ve failed to beat Newcastle and Southampton – two very winnable games and it’s desperately hard to back them here at the odds. They are currently trading 2.3 and that looks way too short after seeing what they played like last weekend. From a value point of view, those odds have to be laid.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Leicester at 2.3.

WATFORD V NEWCASTLE

3pm These two are happily sitting in 10th and 13th position in the table, and pretty much have very little to play for here. Newcastle have recently beat Manchester United and Arsenal; however as they went into the top ten in the table – they suffered a shock defeat at home to West Brom last weekend. Watford haven’t won in their last six games however and have been leaking goals. We see this game being very close and we feel that the match odds don’t reflect that. Watford are trading 2.46 at the time of writing and that looks very short given their recent form and having little to play for towards the end of the season. They look a great value lay.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Watford at 2.46.

WEST BROM V TOTTENHAM

3pm After losing eight straight games, West Brom are now unbeaten in their last four games since sacking Alan Pardew. They beaten Manchester United and drew with Liverpool in that run too! Perhaps looking back club management made a poor decision to sack Pulis and bring in Pardew – suddenly with two wins and losses for everyone else that can stay up – however that looks highly unlikely. Spurs are in excellent form coming into this game though and maybe importantly compared to West Brom’s recent games; Spurs have something to play for. They are still battling for a top four spot and that all important Champions League football next season and we expect a Spurs win here. They are outclass this West Brom side and they look a shade of value at 1.46.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham to beat West Brom at 1.46.

EVERTON V SOUTHAMPTON

5.30pm Depending on results earlier in the day – this could be a huge chance for Southampton, or they could be under huge pressure to stay in touch. Either way, it’s going to be one of, if not the, most important game of the season for them – and that includes the FA Cup semi final! The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Everton 2.96, Southampton 2.7 and the draw is 3.4. You have to think that Southampton are incredibly short at 2.7 – they’ve won just one game in their last 15 away games and they shouldn’t be favourites playing a side like Everton away from home. Everton aren’t the most solid of sides and have had an up and down season thus far; however we can’t get away from the Southampton lay here at the odds – they look very short and appeal as the best value lay of the day.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton 2.7.
