SATURDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: Another action packed Saturday with Sunderland v Arsenal getting things underway at 12.30pm and Crystal Palace v Liverpool the late TV game. We preview all the matches with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

Sunderland v Arsenal

12.30pm We kick off this week’s Premier League action with Arsenal traveling to the struggling Sunderland and with the Gunners currently priced up at 1.43 in the match odds market, we will have to look around the side markets to find something a bit bigger in price to tip. It’s hard to see how Sunderland can get a result here, however they might be able to stop Arsenal from scoring early and with under 2.5 goals currently trading 2.5, this seems a very solid option for a trade, and for an outright bet too – Middlesbrough were able to get a 0-0 draw away to Arsenal and Sunderland will almost certainly set up defensively here. Under 2.5 goals seems even more appealing when you consider that Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in five of their last six, while Sunderland have seen under 2.5 goals in all of their last four.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.5.

Manchester United v Burnley

3pm United bounced back from the embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Chelsea last weekend with a solid 1-0 win at home to City midweek in the League Cup – you’d have to say though that the United team fielded by Jose Mourinho was far stronger than the one Pep Gaurdiola decided to play, but United’s confidence will be boosted nonetheless. Burnley have been playing reasonable ok in recent weeks, highlighted by a 2-1 win at home to Everton last weekend, however they have struggled away from home and have conceded six goals in their last two away games to Southampton and Leicester – an early United goal could open the floodgates here and we feel that United -1.5 goals is value at around 1.75.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester United -1.5 goals to beat Burnley at 1.75.

Middlesbrough v Bournemouth

3pm Both these sides drew 0-0 at the weekend against better class opposition and it will be interesting to see who is the more attacking here. There is definitely an argument to see that Middlesbrough are too short in the markets odds market at 2.6, they’ve managed just one win in their nine Premier League games thus far and Bournemouth are having a good spell at the moment, beating Everton and scoring six against Hull being the highlights – at the odds we can’t get away from the Middlesbrough lay and that will be our best bet here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Middlesbrough at 2.6.

Tottenham v Leicester

3pm It’s a shame this game isn’t on at a main TV time over the weekend, because it would certainly deserve it. Spurs could be a bit short here at 1.68, especially given they’ve had a tough away run over the last two weeks – they had four away games in 11 days ending without a win and only scoring twice, not what was expected after they beat Manchester City 2-0. They will be glad to return to White Hart Lane today though and if you’re considering laying Spurs at 1.68, you have to think about just how poor at the back Leicester have been away from home this season. They’ve always started badly too, they’ve been behind at half time in all four of their away games – they’ll have to fix that if they’re to get a result here – but they have some hope, Spurs haven’t been in great goal scoring form without Harry Kane and we could see a low scoring cagey affair here. Under 2.5 goals is 2.12 and we feel that is a shade of value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.12.

Watford v Hull

3pm Hull are on a terrible run in the league at the moment but a welcome win midweek in the Cup might boost spirits in the camp – it’s still no surprises to see Watford trading at 1.8 though. However the biggest value here could be in the goals market, obviously Hull have shipped plenty of goals this season but Watford are without a clean sheet in their last eight at home. It’s also worth noting that Hull have found the net at some stage in their four away games in the league too, over 2.5 goals is trading 2.1 and that looks to be the best bet here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 2.1.

West Brom v Manchester City

3pm There will no doubt be a lot of people tempted to lay City at 1.48 here given they are without a win in their last six games, the longest run in Pep Guardiola’s managerial career! A clean sheet would be more than welcome here for City too given their recent mistakes at the back, but West Brom have managed to find the net all five of their last games and an early West Brom goal would certainly make things interesting to see how City would bounce back! An interesting market here is the handicap market, West Brom are currently trading 1.7 +1.5 goals – given that they have lost just once in their last 22 home games by more than one goal and the fact that City are suffering a dip in form/morale this certainly looks to be worth a play.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Brom +1.5 goals to beat Manchester City at 1.7.

Crystal Palace v Liverpool

5.30pm Crystal Palace had one of the worse records of any team in 2016 with the way they finishes last season and started this one, but then they found form and won three straight but they now meet this season top Premier League scorers with just one draw from their last three. More worryingly for Palace, they haven’t been able to record a clean sheet either this season and surely Liverpool can find the net a few times here with their attacking form. They are currently priced at 1.78 in the match odds market and with over 2.5 goals trading 1.81 it is a tough call to decide which is the better bet of the two here – we marginally just prefer the Liverpool win at 1.78.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace at 1.78.
