PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s two games in the Premier League between BRIGHTON v SOUTHAMPTON and LEICESTER v EVERTON with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BRIGHTON V SOUTHAMPTON
1.30pm An interesting clash to get us underway on Sunday, with an in-form Brighton side hosting a Southampton side who are struggling to score goals. Brighton have actually picked up seven points in their last four games, scoring five goals along the way – considering that Southampton have only managed 1-0 wins against West Brom and Crystal Palace in their last six games, whilst only scoring three times in their other four (with two against Newcastle) we’re not sure that Southampton should be a short as 2.52.
Many will argue with Brighton in good form and Southampton struggling to find the net that Brighton are the value at 3.3, and there is certainly more value in that bet than in Southampton at 2.52. Also, given that Southampton have only seen over 2.5 goals in three of their last nine, maybe unders is the way forward here. However, we can’t get away from the Southampton lay at 2.52 – we just feel that this game will be a lot closer than those odds suggest.

LEICESTER V EVERTON
4pm Isn’t it odd how the fixture list throws up these situations! Both sides have recently sacked their manager, and while Leicester showed they bounced back from the sacking to beat Swansea at the weekend and Leeds midweek, Everton could only managed a 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the cup. For all the money that Everton spent during the summer, their squad doesn’t look to have the quality to win at the moment – they really need to find a set up that works.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Leicester 2.2, Everton 3.8 and the draw is 3.45. We said midweek when Everton played Chelsea that until we see more from them, it will pay to bet against them – we haven’t changed that opinion yet and with Leicester finding some wins since sacking their manager, they can keep that good momentum going.
