PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet including CHELSEA v MAN U at 4.30pm.

TOTTENHAM V CRYSTAL PALACE

12pm After disappointingly losing 1-0 to United last weekend, Spurs must arrive here still on cloud nine after beating Real Madrid 3-1 midweek in the Champions League! Harry Kane coming back must have been a great boost, and they were superb. They’ve also broken their Wembley hoodoo too, thrashing Liverpool 4-1 in their last Premier League home game here. It’s hard to see anything but a Spurs win here given the way they have been playing, however they’ve be wary of a Palace side who could beat Chelsea recently. Palace will more then likely come here to defend, however it’s hard to see them stopping Spurs in their currently goal scoring form – they’re trading 1.95 -1.5 goals in the handicap markets and that looks massive.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham -1.5 goals to beat Crystal Palace at 1.95.

MANCHESTER CITY V ARSENAL

2.15pm Manchester City continued their superb goal scoring midweek in the Champions League when beating Napoli 4-2, and next up on the chopping block is Arsenal. Amazingly the only recent side who have stopped City here was Wolves in the league cup, although admittedly Guardiola made plenty of changes that night. We all know that Arsenal struggle away from home, and with the way they concede goals, it’s hard not to see City scoring a few times here. There won’t be many sides who go to Napoli and score four this season, and that’s just a sign of how good Guardiola has them playing at the moment.

City are heavy favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing; Manchester City 1.45, Arsenal 7.8 and the draw 5.3. It’s hard not to see plenty of goals here, but the markets expect that, with over 2.5 goals trading as short as 1.41! The bet for us has to be City on the handicap, the way they are attacking with pace and banging in goals for fun means that it’s difficult not to see Arsenal really struggling. They don’t have a good record away from home either, and with City trading as big as 2.2 -1.5 goals that looks massive value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City -1.5 goals to beat Arsenal at 2.2.

CHELSEA V MANCHESTER UNITED

4.30pm This is obviously a huge game for both sides, however a loss for United could see them eight points behind City and although it’s still early, it’s hard to see them closing that gap. Chelsea haven’t been in great form lately, they were embarrassed midweek in the Champions League when losing 3-0 to Roma, Roma also held them to 3-3 at Stamford Bridge before that, and Watford nearly got a draw there too, that was after Crystal Palace beat them – having been without a win or draw all season before that. It’s tempting to take them on, but how will Mourinho set up his side?

Looking at Mourinho’s track record, it seems obvious that he’ll set up negatively. That could be just the confidence boost Chelsea need here, they’ll probably see a lot of the ball and it’s unlikely United will go all out for the win. That seems to be the Jose Mourinho way away from home in big games, and looking at the recent Liverpool v United game, it’s hard not to lay United at 3.2. With Chelsea struggling though, we’re going to take a chance and go for a draw at 3.25 – those odds look pretty big in a game that Mourinho could make very boring.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.25.

EVERTON V WATFORD

4.30pm Lots of teams usually get a boost when they sack a manager, however Everton have lost their last two. It is a sign of a squad lacking in talent and unable to find a system that suits the players – another loss here would really see the pressure pile on them at the bottom of the table, and with the way they are playing at the moment, it’s hard to see them winning! Everton look terribly short at 2.16 – Watford have only lost once away from home this Premier League season, and that was against Chelsea when they nearly got a draw – Chelsea needed a late goal, and got two. Until we see more from Everton, we have to keep laying them, and the 2.16 lay just jumps off the page here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Everton at 2.16.
