PREMIER LEAGUE: It’s a Premier League double header on Sunday with Swansea v Middlesbrough and the highlight of the weekend Arsenal v Man City at 4pm. We preview both games with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

SWANSEA V MIDDLESBROUGH

1.30pm This is a huge game for both sides. Swansea got off to a flying start under Paul Clement, however they’ve lost their last two – against sides you would have fancied them to beat too in Hull and Bournemouth. After just starting to look up the table, they now find themselves looking down again. They’ll see Middlesbrough five points behind them, and a win here for Swansea would surely make life extremely difficult for Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough are the worst form team in the Premier League at the moment, they’ve gone 11 without a win, and lost seven of those. They sacked their manager, but didn’t seem to get a bounce in effort from the players when losing 3-1 at home to Manchester United. The International break probably came at a good time for them to regroup, but it’s hard to see them winning with Swansea having home advantage.

Swansea are a tempting bet at 2.02, especially given Middlesbrough terrible run of form. However an even better bet looks to be over 2.5 goals at 2.26. Swansea’s games have been packed with goals this reason, and Middlesbrough will know they need to win here to have a chance of staying up. With Swansea generally conceding in each game, over 2.5 goals just looks too big at 2.26.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 2.26.

ARSENAL V MANCHESTER CITY

4pm This is the highlight of the weekend and Arsene Wenger will be praying for a win here to ease the pressure on him! He will be comforted by home advantage, and the fact that they’ve been woeful away from home recently – losing five of their last seven. Manchester City will arrive confident, and will hope to draw first blood here because the sides also meet in the FA Cup soon too.

The odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Arsenal 3.1, Manchester City 2.4, while the draw trades 3.75. It must be a while since Arsenal have been such a big price at home, and you have to feel that the market is somewhat overreacting to their woes away from home. Let’s not forget too that City aren’t exactly blowing sides away at the moment either – it’s taking a leap of faith trusting Arsenal given their currently run however at the odds, the City lay really appeals at 2.4, and that will be our best bet in this one.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester City at 2.4.
