PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Tuesday’s Premier League game between SWANSEA v SOUTHAMPTON with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm It doesn’t get much bigger than this at the bottom of the table, what a huge game! Both teams are locked on 33 points in 17th and 18th position in the Premier League table – Huddersfield have 36 points ahead of them but have to play away to Chelsea tomorrow night, and West Brom have 31 points behind them. Pressure doesn’t get any bigger than this.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Swansea 3.15, Southampton 2.6 and the draw is 3.3. Southampton have found a little bit of form at the right time – they managed to draw away to Everton at the weekend and prior to that they got a huge three points off Bournemouth. Swansea are without a win in their last six games; however they have had to play Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United in that run – they’ve had a very tough fixture list at an important time in the season.
Southampton definitely look a little short here at 2.6 – they have only managed two away wins all season. Those wins came against Crystal Palace when they were bottom of the table and West Brom when they were also bottom. Southampton have been consistently overbet this season given their place in the table and they look too short again tonight.
Swansea have been very solid at home, and it has been their home form that has got them into this position to fight to stay up. We feel that this one will be a very hard fought and close game, and the odds on Southampton don’t reflect how close this will be. We have to lay Southampton at 2.6 from a value point of view.
