PREMIER LEAGUE: Another big night of Premier League action and we preview each match with a recommended BETDAQ bet. The highlight is Chelsea v Man City at 8pm (BT SPORT).

ARSENAL V WEST HAM

7.45pm Arsenal have never been in more danger of missing out on a top four position in recent years, and they really need to win against a struggling West Ham side. The fans are in meltdown, half want Wenger out and half support him – there was yet more fighting outside the ground after the draw with Man City the weekend. The atmosphere is becoming a bit toxic, and they need to steady the ship – it’s hard to be successful when the tensions are this high around the team. They’re currently 1.41 in the match odds market and under any under circumstances you’d have to think that they’d be a good bit shorter. West Ham were beaten away to Hull at the weekend, and are now without a win in their last six while conceding 13 goals.

In truth, Arsenal should win easily – the atmosphere was so dead on Sunday afternoon against Manchester City though, almost like the fans didn’t expect the team to win, even at 2-2. So we can’t back a price of 1.41 under we see more from Arsenal. Given both sides have scored and conceded so many goals in their recent games, over 3.5 goals appeals at 2.14 as a small bet. It will be interesting to see how Arsenal play, and the fans react.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 3.5 goals at 2.14.

HULL V MIDDLESBROUGH

7.45pm Middlesbrough managed to grind out a 0-0 draw against Swansea the weekend, however they looked toothless up front again and really need wins to get out of the relegation zone. That draw means they have gone 12 games now without a win, and anything other than a win here will almost certainly see them going down. With the lack of goals coming from Middlesbrough (only four scored in that run of 12 games), it’s very hard to see how they win a game at the moment – and with Hull winning four of their five home games since Marco Silva has taken over, the 2.1 on the home win here looks very good value. Hull are just in the right form at the moment to beat this Middlesbrough side.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Hull to beat Middlesbrough at 2.1.

SOUTHAMPTON V CRYSTAL PALACE

7.45pm Crystal Palace produced the shock of last weekend winning away to Chelsea, and have now won all of their last four games. It’s been quite the turnaround for Big Sam, and the loan signing of Sakho has been a stroke of genius. Keeping Chelsea to only one goal at home given their form this season was quite the feat, and they kept three clean sheets in their previous three wins. You’d have to think that they’ve a great chance of getting another result here against a struggling Southampton side – Southampton couldn’t beat Bournemouth here the weekend and are still finding it hard to score without Austin. They’ve lost seven of their last 11 games in the Premier League and we just feel that Southampton don’t deserve to be odds on here given the form both sides come into this game with. We’re happy to lay 1.88 on a home win.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 1.88.

SWANSEA V TOTTENHAM

7.45pm Swansea we’re unable to dispatch the woefully out of form Middlesbrough at the weekend and if they can’t beat them at home, they’re hardly going to beat Spurs. After Chelsea lost the weekend, Spurs are now seven points behind the league leaders and with Chelsea meeting Man City tonight too, this could be a great chance to eat into that lead again. They’ve been scoring plenty of goals and at 1.76 here they look a big price to out-gun this Swansea side.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham to beat Swansea at 1.76.

CHELSEA V MANCHESTER CITY

8pm The clash of the night, indeed the clash of the week! The atmosphere was a bit lacking on Sunday with Arsenal hosting Man City, but you can expect Stamford Bridge to be bouncing tonight – especially as Chelsea lost the weekend against Crystal Palace. Another loss here, especially against a rival at the top, would represent a mini-crisis, but only a mini one with Chelsea seven points clear before kick off. The odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Chelsea 2.42, Man City 3.2 and the draw is 3.55.

When the sides met earlier at City, Chelsea won 3-1 and became favourites for the title. It was an incredible game though, and really good to watch – so let’s hope tonight is just as good! The scoreline probably flattered Chelsea, given that City had so many chances, but Chelsea have been so impressive and dominate since, City don’t look huge value at 3.2 – apart from the shock loss to Palace the weekend, Chelsea have been superb at home this season.

We do like the Chelsea win price at 2.42, you can definitely expect a reaction after the loss the weekend and that price looks a few ticks too high. City don’t have a great record against the top sides this season, and they have an even worse record away against the top sides. However, with so much attacking talent on display and over 2.5 goals trading 1.8 that will be our best bet – it looks pretty good value at those odds, and with should hopefully be another cracker between the sides.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.8.

LIVERPOOL V BOURNEMOUTH

8pm It didn’t take Liverpool long to cut through Everton last weekend, indeed it only took 7minutes – and with Bournemouth struggling at the back lately, it could be a long night for the visitors. Bournemouth did manage to keep a clean sheet last weekend though, however Southampton have really been struggling without Austin so maybe we can’t read too much into that. Bournemouth have only managed two wins away from home all season, however they did beat Liverpool 4-3 when the sides met previously this season – that was when Bournemouth had home advantage though. Both these sides just seem to have plenty of goals in them and with Liverpool a bit too short to back at 1.38 in the match odds market, we like the look of over 3.5 goals at 2.3 in what could be a very entertaining game.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 3.5 goals at 2.3.
