PREMIER LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: We preview Wednesday’s Premier League games between ARSENAL v LEICESTER, MIDDLESBROUGH v SUNDERLAND and CRYSTAL PALACE v TOTTENHAM.

ARSENAL V LEICESTER

7.45pm We have three very interesting matches in the Premier League tonight and we start with Arsenal v Leicester. Leicester didn’t have a game last weekend because of the FA Cup semi-finals, so that gave them a chance to get over crashing out of the Champions League – however that would have been such a blow, maybe they’ll still have the hangover! Meanwhile Arsenal came through a tough game against City and will be buoyed by that, even if extra time might have been tough on the players.

The odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Arsenal 1.63, Leicester 5.7 and the draw is 4.5. If you take away the FA Cup wins, Arsenal have only won three of their last nine – which has put them in a terrible position for a top four finish, even Everton have gone ahead of them! However for this game, it’s worth remembering that most of these losses have been away, and that they’ve won seven of their last nine at home. Compare this to Leicester’s away form this season which has been very poor – we feel that home advantage will mean a lot here and with the boost in confidence Arsenal got at the weekend beating City, they should win here and 1.63 is worth backing.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal to beat Leicester at 1.63.

MIDDLESBROUGH V SUNDERLAND

7.45pm The bottom two sides face off here, and they are unquestionably the two worst sides in the Premier League at the moment. Both are in dire form, however Sunderland did manage a draw at home last weekend against West Ham – but they’ve failed to score in seven of their last eight games and away from home they’ve lost eight of their last nine. However, before you rush to back Middlesbrough looking at those stats – Middlesbrough haven’t won a game in their last 16! And they seem to be getting worse, they were thumped 4-0 by Bournemouth at the weekend, and have lost six of their last eight. It’s hard to know what to do here with two poor sides, however for a team who haven’t won in 16 games – Middlesbrough looks very short in the market at 2.28. We just feel that this one will be way closer than those odds suggest, and the 2.28 looks a must lay based on that.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Middlesbrough at 2.28.

CRYSTAL PALACE V TOTTENHAM

8pm We had two woefully out of form sides above, and we have the opposite here! Spurs have been superb in the league recently and in all competitions they had an eight game winning streak going before Chelsea ended it on Saturday in the FA Cup. If they are to lift the title this season, they really have to get all three points in games like this one – however can they beat this in-form Palace side?

Palace have won six from their last eight, and look at the sides they have beaten! Liverpool at the weekend in Anfield, Arsenal 3-0 here and Chelsea in Stamford Bridge – you’d have to say that Spurs look really short here at 1.69. That price just screams value lay to us given the way that Palace have been playing, and we don’t need to look any further for our best bet.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Tottenham at 1.69.
