7/4 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK struck with another winning nap yesterday from his only bet of the day. Tadaany (NAP) WON 7/4 at Listowel.
Tadaany won in good style yesterday to land the nap at 7/4.
Back to Listowel on Friday when the going is soft to heavy and there are eight races (five flat, three jumps).
It’s interesting to see the combination of Dermot Weld and Ruby Walsh in the John J. Galvin Maiden Hurdle at 5.35 with Grecian Tiger.
The six-year-old made a winning debut on ground similar to today at Naas and has gone on to win on the flat and run some big races over hurdles without winning.
Whilst most of his form has been on better ground there are certainly no reasons to think he won’t handle conditions today and an overdue first success looks on the cards as this event won’t take much winning.
Chief market rival Golan Lodge made a winning debut in a bumper at Fairyhouse in February but hasn’t been seen since, although the form was given a boost when the runner-up from the bumper won next time out.
