CATCHING THE YELLOW BUS TO DUNDALK: SHAMROCK’s best bet of the day runs in the 6.05 at Dundalk this evening.
Irish racing today from Dundalk and Downpatrick.
Best bet for me looks to be The Yellow Bus at Dundalk who runs in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Auction Maiden over six furlongs at 6.05pm.
The David Wachman trained filly has finished placed on both starts to date. She made her debut at Leopardstown and was a well beaten second of four to Minding, who of course has gone on to win the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh, so that effort more than respectable.
The Yellow Bus went on to finish third to Queen Of Sicilly last time out at Naas – a race that looked better than tonight and she should appreciate the drop in class.
The Tommy Stack trained Diamond Fields was well beaten last time at Leopardstown but that was a better class race and also over seven furlongs. She had previously shown some good form when second to the odds-on Only Mine and Cork and looks the main danger to the selection.
