SHAMROCK AT DUNDALK: SHAMROCK heads to Dundalk on Friday for his best bet of the day.
The run of naps came to an end on Thursday when Augustin could only finish second in the closing bumper at Clonmel and never really looked like winning.
So we head into the weekend on a run of 4 winning naps from the last 5.
Friday night means one thing – under the floodlights at Dundalk and there’s an eight race card starting at 5.35.
In the maiden at 6.35 I thought the BETDAQ favourite Maira was worth taking on with two unexposed rivals lurking.
Maira hasn’t done a lot wrong but she has had five starts (all at Dundalk) and finished second in three of them.
Unchanged made a pleasing debut here when third to the odds on shot Hat Alnasar and ran as though the run would do him the world of good.
He is preferred to Petit Adagio who was fourth on debut here and has some ground to make up on Maira who finished second in that race.
