It’s the Group 3 Diamond Stakes at Dundalk tonight, won last year by Declaration Of War and Aidan O’Brien also looks to have a good chance this year with Afonso De Sousa.
The three-year-old won well over course and distance last time out after a long break.
He’s got something to find on his rivals from a pure form perspective though. Notably Parish Hall who won the Dewhurst as a two-year-old and has returned this season after a lengthy absense and is trying the Polytrack for the first time here.
For the nap I’m going with Cristoforo Colombo in the 7.15. He was only eight last time out in a Group 3 but only beaten around a length and a half in a bunch finish.
He should gain a good confidence booster here.
