DUNDALK ON FRIDAY: SHAMROCK’S best bet of the day runs in the Listed Cooley Fillies Stakes at Dundalk tonight.

It looks wide open with a maximum 14 strong field including a quartet of Aidan O’Brien trained runners.
It might well go to Jim Bolger though with the unbeaten Goldrush who I was impressed with when she won over 10 furlongs here a fortnight ago.
The daughter of Frankel steps back in trip tonight for this but she was impressive over a mile on debut at Navan over a mile and seems versatile distance wise at this early stage of her career. With just the two starts she comes into this a fresh horse and faces rivals who have had, in the main, busy campaigns.
The Mick Halford trained Hunaina stayed on really well to win a seven furlong handicap here last time out and should be suited by the mile but is taking a big step up in class.
