LISTED ACTION AT LEOPARDSTOWN: SHAMROCK looks forward to the Listed Saval Beg Levmoss Stakes at Leopardstown on Friday afternoon.

Just the six runners will leave the stalls for the Listed Saval Beg Levmoss Stakes at Leopardstown this afternoon (4.30pm) but it promised to be a thriller with a wide open market on BETDAQ.

Aidan, Joseph and Donnacha O’Brien all have runners with the star of the show undoubtedly being the Melbourne Cup winner Twilight Payment (Joseph). He will be much better suited by this trip than the 1m 2f he faced on his season opener at the Curragh when third to Broome. He was runner-up in this race last year (ran in June) to Nickajack Cave and might be vulnerable again, this time to the Aidan trained Amhran Na Bhfiann.

He showed his class as a three-year-old when third in the Epsom Derby and was a runaway 13 length winner of a maiden first time out this season at Dundalk. That didn’t really teach us a lot form wise as he was sent off a red hot favourite but we know he comes here in good form and I think will relish the step up in trip.

Search For A Song obviously has to command respect given that he is a dual Irish St Leger winner but with his main rivals having a recent run under their belts he might just be tapped for toe on reappearance.
