LEOPARDSTOWN: Shamrock heads to the tea-time card at Leopardstown on Monday.

That was a little better. Two winners from the three bets yesterday.

The lay of The United States proved spot on as that one ran a shocker, finishing out of the frame at 7/4.  The next best Declaration Of War WON at 6/4 and the nap, What Style, finished second at 4/1.

Leopardstown race again today with the card getting underway at 4.15 with ground still on the soft side.

Before checking the BETDAQ prices I had in mind that Indian Chief would be a bet at anything around 1.5. Low and behold I checked the odds and he’s EXACTLY 1.5.

So right on the cusp of the value line – but he does look a strong bet to continue the excellent Sunday form of Aidan and Joseph O’Brien at the track.

Indian Chief was second to Loch Garman when odds on for his debut at Navan but the winner went on to win a Group 1 and he would be mightily unlucky to bump into another one like that.

So it’s a safe play nap to start the week.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:

NAP: Indian Chief (4.15 Leopardstown)
