WINNING NAP DOUBLE: SHAMROCK landed his NAP – a rare double – yesterday when both Alpha Centauro and Caravaggio bolted home at Naas.

The switch to BETDAQ MULTIPLES for the NAP paid off yesterday.

I’ll declare it as a 6/5 WINNING NAP, as that was the price at the time of recommendation, but the SP double was closer to 13/8 with them both drifting slightly – so the value on BETDAQ MULTIPLES would have been even greater if you placed the bet closer to the off.

In the end there were no worries with them both winning easily. Alpha Centauri not only confirmed form with Actress but put more of a gap between themselves with an impressive five length win and now looks Queen Mary bound.

Caravaggio maintained his unbeaten record with a smooth success in the EMS Copiers Lacken Stakes where he was delivered late by Ryan Moore but strode readily clear for a 4 3/4 length win.

Punchestown race tonight and there are certainly no double recommendations. It looks hard enough to find one winner!

I’m taking Vocarium to defy his penalty for his debut win over course and distance last month. The Peter Fahy trained runner won nicely by three lengths, should improve for that run and can shrug off the penalty which is never easy in bumpers. Jamie Codd in the saddle tonight is another bonus.

Los Alamos was a close-up third on debut at Down Royal and looks a danger alongside the Dermot Weld trained debutant Social Treasure – keep an eye on the market (below) for how that one is shaping up.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Vocarium (8.45 Punchestown)
