ROSCOMMON NAP: SHAMROCK starts the week with a nap at Roscommon hoping to follow on from Sunday’s winning nap.
A winning nap on Sunday, although the odds were skinny. Karl Der Grosse made a pleasing Irish debut in the opening maiden hurdle at Tramore to win at 8/15.
The racing week starts at Roscommon tonight with a busy eight race card on expected soft ground.
The Noel Meade trained Dadoozdart relished the testing ground to make a winning debut at Naas and can follow up after a break by taking the 5.20pm.
He takes a big step up in distance but was staying on so strongly at Naas that you can see the thinking.
Eagles Rock has been knocking on the door and was only beaten a length into second at Galway last time out. A reproduction of that effort will make him the biggest danger.
