SHAMROCK NAPS HAT-TRICK? After an 11/4 winning NAP on Saturday SHAMROCK followed up with ADROIT (NAP) WON 7/4 on Sunday. Can he complete the naps hat-trick on Monday?

Adroit landed the nap with the minimum of fuss on Sunday and I was pleased with the SP of 7/4 – bigger as always on BETDAQ.

That’s two in a row, so the pressure is on to find a winner over jumps at Kilbeggan this evening.

The good to firm ground has scared quite a few runners away and we are dealing with relatively small fields.

Eight runners go to post for the T & V Novice Hurdle at 7.30pm and it looks the match-up that the BETDAQ market is pointing to between Bless N’ject (2.3) and King Leon (2.36).

It’s also a heads-up between Willie Mullins and Aidan O’Brien – how about that for a Monday night at Kilbeggan over jumps !!

Both horses arrive here on the back of wins last time out. Bless N’ject won a maiden at Punchestown over this three mile trip and the second has won since to boost the form. That run came on good to yielding ground but he has shown form on a quicker surface too, including when third in a Bellewstown bumper earlier in his career.

King Leon won his maiden race last time out at Ballinrobe. He made all the running and although coming under pressure in the closing stages did stay on well. That was over 2m 4f on yielding to soft ground. This is his first run over three miles and also his first on good to firm ground.

Given we know that Bless N’ject will be suited by both ground and trip and are only speculating on King Leon – the Willie Mullins trained Bless N’ject has to be the percentage call.
