THURLES OFF TODAY: With Thurles called off today, SHAMROCK returns to tipping duties on Friday at Dundalk. Today, he looks ahead to Saturday’s prospects at Fairyhouse.
Saturday’s meeting at Fairyhouse will be an all-hurdle card if the track is fit to race.
The chase course has been declared unraceable, while an 8am inspection of the hurdles track has been called for Friday.
Horse Racing Ireland tweeted: “Fairyhouse Chase track unraceable for Saturday so all chases cancelled. 8am hurdle track inspection tomorrow due to adverse forecast.”
HRI later confirmed the feature handicap chase will now be rescheduled for Sunday.
They tweeted: “The Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Steeplechase Transferred to Punchestown 3rd February 2013.”
