BIG TWO TRAINERS AT THE DOUBLE: Shamrock doubles up on Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson with Irish-bred horses running in England today. The third leg of his trio was 9.8 on BETDAQ this morning.

They’re top of the range. Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson, who were neck and neck for the English trainer’s title until Saturday’s Grand National won it for Nicholls, have two Irish-breds with solid chances today.

Themilanhorse (2.30), bred by Michael Heskin from the Coolmore jumps sire Milan, is back in novice company for Nicholls at Exeter and can see off Irish Point winner, Ballyboker Boy.

At Kempton, Henderson’s Top Of The Range (3.20) will be suited by the step back up in trip. I’ll be interested to see whether another Irish point winner, Good Old Paul, can get back some form.

The FF against Muldoon’s Picnic (4.50) shouldn’t put you off. He didn’t take to fences but this first handicap returned to hurdles will suit. It’s no picnic in this big field but 9.8 on BETDAQ helps.

SHAMROCK’S BETS
