FAIRYHOUSE NAP: SHAMROCK’S nap runs in the 2m 7f handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse this afternoon.
The handicap hurdle at 2.50pm looks a competitive affair at Fairyhouse but preference goes to Howaya Aoife to follow up on her Punchestown win last month in the BETDAQ Casino Mares Handicap Hurdle.
She’s been raised 4lb for that effort but scored with a little in hand, despite the close finish and relished the softer ground.
This doesn’t look as competitive and she might well go in again whilst the iron is hot.
Market leader is Kayf Thou who is hurdling again after a spell over the larger obstacles. He needs to show a little more than he did at Limerick when fourth – beaten 30 lengths by Young Diva – although the longer trip should help.
