14/1 IRISH DERBY WINNER: SHAMROCK put up Latrobe WIN AND PLACE as one of his two selections in the Irish Derby yesterday. His nap was Saxon Warrior who finished third.
Whilst the nap Saxon Warrior could only finish third in the Irish Derby – SHAMROCK wasn’t complaining too much as his other selection in the race was the 14/1 WINNER Latrobe !!
Back at the Curragh today Forever Together will be a short price favourite to follow up her Oaks success in the Juddmonte Pretty Polly Stakes at 4.40pm but she is priced accordingly.
Another Aidan O’Brien trained runner on the card who looks a good bet is Giuseppe Garibaldi in the Comer Group International Curragh Cup at 5.15pm.
He was last seen when finishing third to Old Persian in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot but this looks more of his trip and he can see off the challenge of Pallasator who may need further, as he did at Royal Ascot when winning the Queen Alexandra Stakes over 2m 5f.
