TEA TIME AT THE CURRAGH: SHAMROCK looks ahead to racing at The Curragh this afternoon with his NAP running in the Group 2 Kilboy Estate Stakes at 3.45pm.

A couple of Group 2 races from The Curragh this afternoon.

In the Kilboy Estate Stakes at 3.45pm the best bet looks to be Red Tea who can continue the good form of Joseph O’Brien (9 winners in the past two weeks).

Red Tea looks a standout bet now that the William Haggas trained raider Move Swiftly is a non runner.

Red Tea was put in her place by Move Swiftly in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot when the pair were first and 8th respectively. ‘Tea’ is probably better judged on her previous third to Beshaayir in the Lenwades Stud Stakes here and a reproduction of that effort should prove good enough.

Aidan O’Brien supplies three of the (now) five rivals headed by the Ryan Moore ridden Goddess who was beaten nine lengths in the Naas Oaks Trial – a Listed race – and will have to step up significantly on that run.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Red Tea (3.45 Curragh)
