GALWAY NAP: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Sunday runs in the closing bumper at 4.35pm.

Galway punters might want to wait for the final race on the card for the best bet on Sunday.

Global Equity looks the pick in the bumper. Joseph O’Brien’s runner made a pleasing debut at Tipperary over hurdles when third to Imperial View. She was an unconsidered 33/1 shot in the market that day but put in a better round than her stable companion Flicker Flame.

She’s back in distance for this spin on the flat but the softer ground will help make it a test of stamina and she is preferred to the Gordon Elliott trained runner Beth Horan who makes her debut having finished third in a point at Ballycahane but in early BETDAQ trading today hadn’t proved particularly popular.

Presenting Ana has by far the most experience but doesn’t set the bar particularly high.
