THREE NAPS IN A ROW: SHAMROCK made it a fantastic THREE WINNING NAPS IN A ROW on Saturday with Bear Cheek (WON 13/8) following on from 8/1 and 4/5 WINNING NAPS !!!

Great result yesterday with the nap Bear Cheek winning the Curragh Stakes at 13/8.

He stayed on strongly in the closing stages and looks a very nice horse in the making.

And it was great news on the NAPS front sequence.

It’s now THREE WINNING NAPS in a row !!!!

Thursday: Pleascach (NAP) WON 8/1
Friday: Gelenschik (NAP) WON 4/5
Saturday: Bear Cheek (NAP) WON 13/8

There’re three Group races on the Curragh Sunday card.

Found is very much preferred to stable companion Ol’Man River in the Royal Whip Stakes at 2.40 which disappointingly has only attracted four runners for the €42,000 first prize event.

Aidan O’Brien also appears to have a stranglehold on the feature race – the Group 2 Futurity Stakes at 3.40.

He bids for a hat-trick in the race and won the race last year with Gleneagles who turned out OK (when we see him !!).

This year he has two entries Shogun and Air Vice Marshall and preference is for the Joseph O’Brien ridden Shogun who improved considerably on his debut run to win over course and distance last time out. Air Vice Marshall was second in a Group 2 at Newmarket so it says plenty that Joseph prefers to be on the improver.
