KILLARNEY: It’s back to Killarney on Thursday when the scenic track stage a mixed meeting starting 4.55 – a race which SHAMROCK is playing is NAP card in.
I’m not sure that I want to be with the BETDAQ favourite Chicago Girl in the opener at Killarney this evening.
She has shown signs of temperament on both starts, flicking her tail, and although her last start at Tipperary represented an improved effort, it came on yielding ground and the surface will be much quicker this evening. Adelana finished in third spot at Tipperary and has some ground to find.
A better proposition tonight might be the Kevin Prendergast trained Trikala who has finished runner-up in her last two starts on vastly different ground.
It was the Roscommon run two starts ago that’s probably the most relevant as that came on good to firm ground. She finished a two length runner-up to Home School who has since gone on to run a close second to Exogenesis in a Group 3 at Leopardstown.
